Wesch

Wesch’s video of a college lecture hall focuses on the lives of college students in the 21^st century.  His purpose is to show that students are burdened with work and distractions due to technology.  Technology allows 200 students to collaborate on a Google Document for classwork.  On the other hand, technology prevents students from doing work by offering distractions such as webpages, including Facebook, iTunes (music), and email (and other communication programs).  Wesch proposes that the students’ schedules are booked and that there are barely enough hours in a day to do everything that is necessary.  It is difficult finding a balance between school work, leisure, eating, sleeping, and working.
